Who 852 Tangram is for

We work with three kinds of buyers, all in or adjacent to Toronto.

Founders rebranding for a Series A or operational scale. You raised, hired, or expanded, and the brand from the seed stage no longer carries the company. Elite Tenants came to us at this stage and rebuilt their positioning to support a move into the enterprise leasing market.

Established Toronto businesses ready to invest in a real brand system. You have product, customers, revenue, and a logo your designer made in 2019. The rest of your visual and content output looks like five different agencies built it. Maison Lumen and Versus both came in at this stage.

Canadian businesses serving Chinese-Canadian or Korean-Canadian audiences, and Asian businesses entering Canada. You need brand and content built in two or three languages from week one. We work in English, 中文 (繁體 + 简体), and 한국어. Lee Kum Kee and Illume Films both run on this side of our work.

How we work

Every project runs on the same four-phase framework. The deliverables change by service. The cadence does not.

1. Discovery (week 1). Audience interviews, competitor audit, brand audit. Output: a Discovery Report sized to your scope.

2. Strategy (weeks 2 to 3). Positioning, messaging architecture, visual or content direction. Output: a Strategy Document the rest of the project executes against.

3. Design (weeks 4 to 5). The visible work. Logo systems, page layouts, packaging mockups, content templates, depending on the service.

4. Launch (week 6). Brand book, file handoff, internal training. You leave with editable Figma + Illustrator files, written documentation, and 90 days of support.

Most projects deliver in six weeks. Multilingual and bespoke engagements run 8 to 16 weeks. Weekly check-ins, two revision rounds per phase, single approver from your side.

The 852 Promise. If your brand book is not delivered by week six, your final invoice is reduced by 10% per week of delay.

The 852 Promise

If your brand book is not delivered by week six, your final invoice is reduced by 10% per week of delay. The commitment is in writing in every contract. It is unusual in the Toronto agency market. It also forces the operational discipline our clients are paying for.

Why 852 Tangram

  • Strategy first, design second. Every project starts with positioning, not Pinterest boards. The Discovery Report and Strategy Document exist before any logo concept does.
  • Available in three languages. English, 中文 (繁體 and 简体), and 한국어. Native speakers on the team, not Google Translate.
  • Fixed timelines, fixed price ranges. No hourly billing. No scope creep. No surprise invoices. Pricing reflects scope, not negotiation.
  • Six weeks to a brand book, in writing. The 852 Promise is in every contract.

FAQ

Where do projects typically start?

Most clients enter at Brand Foundation (CA$8,500), a Conversion Site web build (CA$7,500), or a single-language packaging or brand project (CA$6,500). If you are unsure of scope, the 30-minute scoping call resolves it.

Do you work with English-only brands?

Yes. Much of our project work is English-only. Multilingual capability is one service line among four. Brands serving Toronto, GTA, or national Canadian audiences in English alone are core clients, not edge cases. Maison Lumen and Versus are both English-only engagements.

What is the minimum digital marketing commitment?

Six months for the Growth engagement (from CA$3,000/month). Twelve months for the Premium engagement (from CA$7,500/month). Foundation engagements are project-based and not subject to a monthly minimum. Monthly engagements re-scope every 90 days against quarterly business goals.

How quickly can you start?

Two weeks from contract signature for project work. Four weeks for ongoing engagements, because monthly onboarding includes a quarterly planning session before the first production cycle begins.
